As I have both learned and become more aware of my own feminism and feminist issues in general, it has become increasingly more and more difficult to watch and enjoy just about any TV show or movie. I think that perhaps older movies I can almost forgive and don’t let them bother me as much because they were made during a different time. It still gives people insight to what was once completely acceptable and maybe even the norm.
