Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia recently announced that, in his view, discrimination against women was not prohibited by the U.S. Constitution. Now, advocates for women's rights such as Rep. Carolyn Maloney (pictured to the left) and NOW president Terry O'Neill are speaking out about Scalia's comments and pointing out how they underscore the need for an equal rights amendment to the constitution.
